Attending ballet classes has been my passion for almost half a century. The year I broke my leg rollerskating became the turning point in my life. I had time to question the meaning of my life,. I was enriched by understanding what having a disability meant. I combined my love for dance, with my interests in psychology, philosophy, health and spirituality to become an exercise therapist for the elderly, and people with special needs. I was privileged to work with psychiatric ex-offenders, and people with a varying range of mental, physical and emotional disabilities.
They enriched my life and brought me my greatest rewards and I believe the time I spent with them, made a difference to some of their lives. I hope readers will be as inspired as I was by this chapter of my life
